According to the Sandusky Register, filming began on Monday at NASA Plum Brook Station in Ohio (view official site) for Marvel’s The Avengers. The following is an excerpt of what the newspaper said:
The filming is taking place in the big vacuum chamber at Plum Brook’s Space Power Facility and is expected to last the rest of the week, said Sally Harrington, NASA’s spokeswoman for Plum Brook.
It’s believed, however, that Samuel L. Jackson is the only big star from the film who is filming at Plum Brook.
